L. J. Michaels, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. The Marlow family has been active in the Wabash Valley for four generations. Our background consists of expertise in real estate, consulting, and property inspections. We have three generations of licensed real estate professionals. We currently have a professional staff that allows us to produce high quality appraisal reports with a reasonable turnaround time.

We utilize WinTotal and ACI software packages for our appraisals. With this knowledge we are able to provide EDI, PDF, and ACI formats with forms, notes, progress reports, sketches, photographs, comparables, location maps, and flood zone records.
L.J. Michaels Real Estate uses several different forms of media to market our REO properties. We have a full page ad in the local real estate guide of the local paper called "The Valley Homes", we also have and service our own website with our properties listed on the world-wide web and have access to buyers who contact us through email 24 hours per day. We also utilize television advertising and have ads on the local television station that covers our service areas (WTHI Channel 10 and Time Warner Cable).
Cy Marlow founded L.J. Michaels Real Estate & Appraisal Services Inc. over twelve years ago, and continues today as its principal broker. He holds a masters degree from Indiana State University in Clinical Psychology.
L.J. Michaels has a well developed staff of about 20 personnel including full-time Indiana licensed residential appraisers and full-time sales assistants. Our lawn care team consists of part-time employees, and our maintenance team includes men experienced in all areas of carpentry, electrical and plumbing. We currently market REO properties for twenty-five national banks and asset management companies.
We try to maximize your returns and maintain a professional point of contact and accountability. We have a dedicated staff to accommodate your needs in our marketing area.
